Mind-blowing/exhilarating/spectacular/overwhelming/memorable...... Words fail me (family and friends normally would not believe this!) in trying to describe how wonderful last night's flight from Peebles was for me and, I'm sure, for all of the motley band who shared the experience. I will certainly be recommending this to all my friends and will no doubt bore them to death with all the photos.

Just a wee note to say a huge thank you for the fantastic flight you gave my father. Launching from his home town of Peebles was a dream come true and an evening he will treasure for years to come. Wanted to thank you again for what was a fantastic experience. Helen was a bit trepidatious to begin with but soon got over that and really enjoyed it; so much so that she's now looking at other flights around Britain. I would just like to thank you for a wonderful Sunday morning that we spent with you a few weeks ago. As I am petrified of heights I was some what concerned about the flight but my fears totally vanished once we took off! When can we come flying again? Slightly belated, but a big thank you for the ballooning experience on Sunday! I think all the "extras" - the delay over uncertainty of the weather, "losing" the Land Rover, and then being stuck in the mud for a while before being towed out by the tractor - only served to enhance the memory of the evening, and the flight itself was quite incredible. Just floating, in silence, above the countryside is quite mystical, and I enjoyed myself enormously. Long may you succeed and prosper with Alba Ballooning.  Thank you once more. Alan Bowie

We had a great time on the flight (the free barbecue afterwards was nice too!) and we have happy memories of it. We were also impressed by the piloting - particularly when you brought the balloon down just low enough to brush the tops of the corn stalks before ascending again; we knew we were in the hands of an expert! Birthday worth remembering. I thought Paris and the Moulin Rouge on the actual birthday were fantastic, but flying over the Lothian’s early morning beat that hands down. Thanks guys for a fabulous flight last night. It was a beautiful evening, just as I had hoped it would be. The experience of inflating the balloon was almost as exciting as the flight over the Ochil Hills. My two grandsons thoroughly enjoyed following the recovery vehicle and tracking us as we flew along. They think grandma is very brave!! I found the whole experience to be really exhilarating and I am still on a high today. Maureen McInnes

I just thought I'd drop you an email to say a huge thank you for the flight yesterday! It was a truly amazing experience and to be honest I don't think I've been that quiet for ages. I haven't stopped telling people about it and now my mum and step dad are both really keen to fly as well as a few participants from my aerobics class - one girl in particular who should be contacting you shortly to find out more. She had a bad experience with another company and ended up not flying and losing her voucher but it’s still her dream to fly so I've given a very strong recommendation of Alba to her. Avril Spray
